You need to follow these steps to post your projects. Make sure you are using Firefox as your browser, otherwise the editing tools won't work. You may want to print out these instructions since once you are editing you won't be able to come back to this page without losing your changes.
1) Look at the navigation bar to your left. Click on "ENERGY."
2) Once on the energy page, scroll down toward the bottom and find the section of the page labeled "Soph Projects."
3) Click on the name of the teacher who teaches your chemistry class. That will bring up a page where you can post your project, assuming it's either a powerpoint or a video or a word file. (Some of the groups shown are currently in the wrong spaces. We'll get that fixed shortly.)
4) Click on the "Edit this page" button, and type in the names of the people in your group - first name and last initial only, please - along with a brief description of your project. Follow the format that is already there. If there are no entries on your page, look at one of the other class pages and you'll see the idea.
5) If you're posting a Powerpoint or a Word File, first make sure the cursor is where you want the file to appear. Ten click on the square green button in the visual editor with the little tree on it (Images and Files). That will bring up a window that will allow you to browse your computer to find the file you want to upload. (Before you upload, please check your file to make sure your last names do not appear.) Once you've found it, select it, and then click the "Upload" button. One the file is uploaded and its icon appears in the large window, double-click on the icon and some code will appear on the page you are editing. Hit the "Save" button in the visual editor and you're done.
If you're posting a video, click on the TV ("Embed media") button instead, and work from there.
You can also create an entirely new page for your project and then link to that page from the "Soph Projects" page. See the "How to Edit" instructions in the navigation bar for instructions on how to do that.
